    Signed Japanese Kutani Satsuma Scenic Chocolate Pot and Cups/Saucers - Excellent.
    Chocolate pot and all plates are signed. Condition is used, overall excellent.
    Excellent hand painted scenes of village life with women, gardens, buildings, vases, folding screens, and more. Gold glaze enhancements. Beautiful set.
    Signed: Signed plates and chocolate pot. Matching scenes on each piece. Signatures on Kutani porcelain pieces are very rare. Interpretation of signed pieces is unknown to me.
    Dimensions: (approximate) teapot with lid 9” in height from base to top of lid finial. Cups are 3” inches in height. Plates are 3.75” inches in diameter.

    Condition- used, excellent with expected uneven red glaze application, glaze imperfections. Hand painted glaze detail is exceptional and retains great near flawless composition. Gold glaze intact. No chips or cracks. Very tiny superficial surface glaze flake on backside bottom red edge rim - insignificant kiln flaw and mentioned only for description completeness.
