Langkat Tobacco Company. (State Crt. No. 134 of June 12, 1894.) Registered office: Amsterdam. Objective: To exploit for the tobacco culture of the lands, included in and belonging to the land concessions Stabat and Augustburg, Ludwigsburg and Tandjong Poetoes, all located in the Empire of Langkat, residence Sumatra's East Coast in the Dutch East Indies, and by the prince of that Empire and issued by his magistrates, all which land concessions are contributed to this joint-stock company, and furthermore on such other lands in the Netherlands Indies, as furthermore by the company, with the approval of the general meeting of shareholders, in property, leasehold, land lease or under any other title may also be obtained; Wider the processing and making suitable for the market the products to be obtained, as well as the transport of those products to and the sale thereof at the place or places where this is considered most desirable in the interest of the company. The Company may also engage in commission trading in such third-party products and make advances thereon. For cultures other than tobacco, if their cultivation is more than an experiment, the approval of the general meeting of shareholders is required. Share capital: NLG 2,100,000, divided into 2100 shares denominated in 1000, registered or bearer, of which 1600 A shares and 500 B shares. Contribution: For 594 A shares and 180 B shares, Mr AFJC Lassen, tobacco planter, residing at Roeskilde (Kingdom of Denmark) the land concessions belonging to him, called Staaten Augustburg, both located in the realm of Langkat, res. Sumatra's East Coast. For 376 A shares and 140 B shares, J. Hüttenbach, merchant, residing in Frankfort a.M., brings in the land concession belonging to him, called Ludwigsburg, situated as furrow. For 250 shares A and 180 shares B, the company Gebr. van Gilse van der Pais, in Rotterdam, the land concession belonging to it, called Tandjong Poetoes, situated as furrows. Board: 1 or 2 directors, supervised by a board of at least 3 and at most 5 supervisory directors.
