MATERIAL : Blue-and-white porcelain of Imari-yaki of SOME-NISHIKI.
IMARI-yaki is a general term of porcelain that has been produced in the Hizen area centered onthe current Saga Prefecture. It has a long history. Origin is a 17 century. And it is also famous as the birthplace of Japanese porcelain.
About SOME-NISHIKI. That is a generic term of Japanese for blue-and-white porcelain that used the color of gold, red, green, yellow, purple and blue, etc. It is a traditional porcelain style such as old Imari porcelain.
