Super rare original promoters poster/ flyer for Clutch at the Engine Room in Houston Texas May 6th 2001. Offset digital lithograph measures 11 X 17 inches on thin stock paper. Commissioned by the promoter, these posters were used to advertise the show at local ticket outlets & local businesses. Like most promotional flyers, these were printed on thin paper as they were used for outdoor use on telephone poles & in store front windows & were meant to be discarded after the concert. This poster was released in 2001 when concert  posters/flyers were just starting to become big collectors items as many bands were not producing posters for their gigs selling them inside the venue. Many fans were looking for some type of image from the concert to remember the show.  There was never a poster created for the actual gig that was sold at the concert.  Most were thrown away or damaged & destroyed while on display so they are very rare. This flyer was never displayed or used & is nearly pristine new old stock. It is hand signed by the graphic artist in pen in the lower right corner & came from the artists original run of posters printed for the promoter. He kept a handful of the posters & hand signed them. I purchased the poster directly from the artist in 2001 so I can guarantee it is 100% original. I have many other flyers from the artist I will be listing here as well. The poster has been stored flat in Mylar for nearly 21 years & is in very fine to near mint condition. Print will be carefully wrapped in Kraft paper & placed in a heavy duty mailing tube & sent Priority Mail with full value sale price insurance.
